Burnout 3: Takedown

"BEST racing game EVER created!!!"

There have been many racing games in the past, but none quite like this!!!

Gameplay - 10
This is possibly the best racing game ever created. This game is like no other. Burnout 3 will have you out of your seat. This game gives you the ability to race through traffic and destroy your opponents. The more destruction, the more money you get. There is a crash junction where all you have to do is try to crash into as many things as possible. There is also a wide variety of cars to unlock and choose from. There are even trucks that you can choose from. There is also boost in this game and the screen will be blurry because you are going so fast. Burnout 3 also has online game play with more modes than the normal game. There are also many many tracks to chose from in 3 different places. The USA, Europe, and the Far East.

Graphics - 10
Burnout 3 has one of the best graphics for a racing game ever. The details of the cars, road, and surroundings are incredible!!! The roads have cracks on them to make it lok real and the cars are very shinny. To make it even better, when ever you hit something, sparks come off of your car!! And if a window breaks you can see the little glass pieces if you freeze frame it. The graphics of your surroundings are also very well done. For example, if your car is moving slow enough, you can actually see every single brick that is used to make a wall.

Sound - 9
This game has amazing sounds. Each car has a different sound because of its different motors. You can also hear the car sliding on the ground when you drift. There are also many cool songs. And if you don't like a song, the xbox gives you the opportunity to switch songs during a race. This might come to be useful because although they have many songs there are a few that are not so good. Most of the songs you can choose from are good though. Just press the black button on the controller. When you crash into a car you can hear the window breaking and the metal hitting metal.

Controls - 10
The controls are very simple. I didn't know how to accelerate at first (I didn't read the manual) but i found out how to play and what each button did in no time. The controls for the game are not strange or complex at all so you will learn them quickly.

Game Length - 10
This is a very long game... if you want to complete it 100 percent. Even if you didn't want to complete it 100 percent it would still be a long game. This game is so fun you will be playing for hours. Although some races will annoy the heck out of you, there are some that you will want to do again!

Rent/ Buy
I recommend you to buy it because it is the best racing game ever and won the best racing game award on G-phoria 2005!!! THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!
