"Get up, everybody's gonna move their feet! Get down, everybody's gonna leave their seat!"

Ahhh.... DDR. I love it. It's fun. And instead of pounding on a controller to pull off some combo to murder that weird looking monster, you're standing up. Standing up AND stomping on arrows to a beat. That's what makes DDR fun. You can look like a mentally challenged person in front of your friends and vice versa.

Well, as you probably already know, DDR involves arrows going up on the tv screen. Then when they get to the top, you stomp on the direction that the arrow is pointing. This may sound pretty awkward, but it's not. It's fun, addicting, and gives you some much needed exercise. Now, it's going to be tough if you're just starting out. But believe me, you'll get better. When I first bought this game, it was overwhelming. I could barely handle the easiest difficulty, but then a couple weeks of intense arrow-stomping and 10 pounds lighter, I could almost handle the next difficulty (which isn't much since there are 4 different difficulties).

Now, you're probably thinking, "Yeah, I have no clue what you said, but what do you dance to?" Well, there's not too many songs. I think the box says like around 60 minutes of music. Yeah, it's not too much, and that's not good. However, there are some pretty catchy songs. You won't find no Detroit Rock City or Who Made Who on here, but you will find Rubberneckin'. Yeah. That's right. Elvis. Elvis is on DDR. How awesome is that?

There's also support for up to 4 players. The BATTLE MODE is pretty fun when you have 4 people dancing in front of you like they've been thunderstruck. But it's only fun if you have friends. And 4 dance mats. Also, there is Live Support. There's some more songs availible on that, however I didn't feel like paying 5 dollars for 10 songs or whatever so yeah. When I went on Live to challenge other people, it was totally empty. So don't plan on getting into plenty of matches over live.

If you've never played a DDR game; you'll be pretty overwhelmed. However, I liked the challenge that it gave me; that's what kept me hooked for so long. There aren't alot of songs either, however there are a few good ones. I'd say it's a buyer if you can find it and if you like challenges.
