"Great........or not"

Right lets get straight to it Far cry is the latest installment from the original game from the P.C. The original was a great success which set things right up for a great sequel. Or maybe not.

Graphics:
To start with I will talk about probably the best thing about this game. The graphics are pretty much amazing and are very lifelike and to back this up the xbox makes things even better. Firstly the team that made Far Cry have given it a setting that hasn't really been used before and made it really work with this game. There are beautiful beaches, crystal blue waters and tropical palm trees around every corner. The weapons also look fantastic and the shootouts are really realistic and make the game a little better.

Story:
To be truthful there isn't much of a plot and it really isn't that good anyway. Man is stranded on Island and has to survive attacks from men on the island.

Gameplay:
In my opinion the most important thing and the part most people won't like. Firstly you buy the game and play it for the first time 'wow' it's a dream come true. You can go any where on the island and creep up on guys and kill them. You get a good hour into the game, it suddenly begins to get a bit boring and repetitive. All you seem to do is walk around the island and shoot people, but wait I hear people say that is what a shoot em up is..... isn't it. Well yes but this one just doesn't feel right and just is plain boring which is annoying and I can't seem to find anything new to do on this game it just is boring.
There is also a thing in hte game where the man you play as turns into a crazy sort of monster which doesn't make any sense and adds literally nothing to hte game other than look I'm a monster.

Lifespan:
If you buy this game and decide to complete it, it should take you around a few days to finish it isn't too difficult and there aren't any real challenges once you get going.

Overall:
I gave this game a 6/10 because it just really isn't that good, but then again it isn't bad either it's just what you like and I feel this just isn't what everybody wanted out of this game.
