"This game just doesnt come through"

Graphics: 7/10
The graphics aren't amazing. They have some trouble with the proportions of the bodies. The head looks too big and the body is too skinny to look like a person. I did notice that you can see the brand of their shoes when you are shooting a free throw. The arenas look real and the logos on the floor and shirts are done well.

Sound: 7/10
The sound is somewhat ok. You still hear EA trax in the manus of the game. There is a good selection of bands to choose from. The commentary of the game is good but it gets annoying after a while when you hear the same verse five times in one game. The grunts and groans of the players are still good. It's cool to hear the shoes squeak when you do a crossover.

Gameplay: 7/10
First off, the controls are fine on the Xbox version of Live. EA has tried to make the game more Sim like. There is a new feature this year Freestyle Super Stars. There are seven different kinds of supers star: Inside stopper, outside stopper, high flyer, outside scorer, inside scorer, playmaker, and shooter. The inside stopper does nothing I mean you can't stop Shaq or Duncan. The high flyer is use for when you want to dunk it on some ones head. You hardly ever miss when you use the freestyle which is a problem. Another thing is that the game is too easy EA should have made it harder for people to win so easy. There also is the Dynasty mode which puts you in control of a team for 25 years to win a championship. This year they let you hire and fire your own staff which is a plus. EA needs to improve on the Dynasty for this to be a great game.

Online/Replay: 8/10
Online you can play the some modes as last year except now you can play all star weekend online. The replay is high if you are a great basketball fan.

Overall: 7.5/10
This year is just like the last year was EA didn't come through with a better basketball game then 2k6. You should only rent this game because it doesn't provide enough depth for me to pay $50.00.
