"This is another great football game from EA"

Graphics: 9/10
The player models look great and you can tell who each player really is. There are detailed fans, mascots, and cheerleaders. Sometimes the cheerleaders and fans look alike but they still look like people. The Arenas look like they do in real life and the players move like real football players. Great job EA.

Sound: 10/10
This year EA put music instead of the fight songs but you can still change it to fight songs in your settings. They have commentary from the big names in college football, Brad nessler, Kirk Hirbstreit, and Lee Corso. They give good play by play calls and offer insight on play calling if you ever need it. The grunts, moaning, and punt noises but after a while they get kind of annoying. This is another great area of the game.

Gameplay: 8/10
The game play for the Xbox version of NCAA Football 06 is somewhat mediocre. First off, the controls on the Xbox version are a little harder to work with. The best thing about this year is the passing game. It is much easier to catch a pass then it was last year. This year it depends on how hard u push the throw button either for a lob pass or for a bullet. They also add hit stick from Madden to make it feel more real. If you use the hit stick you could force a fumble, but if you line up wrong and miss him he is gone. The game play could have improved with better controls.

Online/ Replay: 10/10
The online play is off the hook. You can play anyone any where in the world. The have a ranking system to see how you fair against everyone else. There are also different modes to play online: overtime, ranked, and tournaments. There is the Dynasty mode witch lets you take over a team and coach them to be a dynasty. You can recruit, hire staff, and play games. There is also a new mode call Race for the Hesiman. You create a player and join a team and try to win the hesiman trophy. The replay value of this game is great because you can play so many different types of matches and it will never be the same.

Overall: 9.5/10
This game is a buy if you are a football fan or like the EA games.
