"Hands Down The Best XBox Game Ever."

Valve did would most said couldn't be done, Putting their award winning game on a poor-little XBox---Guess what? They did, With flying colors!

The levels are lush and life like, It really looks like people live here, work here, play here and die here--It doesn't feel fake.

The character are low-res, But with the great lighting you won't really be able to tell any ways. The faces of the characters---of the people that live in this hell known as City 17 look like they've given up hope--They look warn out and sick of their lives and the way they have to live them in fear.

The cardboard boxes, wood, metal, Things that are in both 99% 0f video games and life it's self--these are things you don't really give much time to in are real life or in the video game world for that matter--But I guess things change when you have 10 guys trying to kill you. These little things can be the different in life or death. The way you can use real world "trash" is insane and useful.

I used a can as cover and ran up to the enemy shooting at me, I threw it at him--while he was stunned I shot him ten times--It's moments like this that make Half-Life 2 a great game,This isn't a one time thing--every single fire fight turns out like this. Matching Witt's with the bad guys--Out number 10 to 1 you have to think--That there sets Half-Life 2 a part from every single game ever made, Every moment is an opening --That's the best way I can sum it up--It's some thing you need to do first hand to truly under stand.

The sounds of the city are creepy and really set you into this world. The sounds of the people of city 17 are just plan crazy--These "people" aren't real--Yet they are, You can hear the plain and the fear in their voices--It's unsettling to say the least. The sound a effects are all some of the best I've ever heard--ever. From the sound of your foot steps down a cold dark hall way to the sounds of the monsters, This game is the very reason every one should have a sound system of some kind. The music pumps you up and tells a story of it's own, Not "Lord of The rings" or any thing, But still very well done.

This game isn't just a game, Is almost a report card of what humans can do with computers. This game should be played by every one, Sure there's killing in it and blood/gore---But it's not there to gross you out or even to fill some sick blood lust you may have, It's there because it has to be--It's hard to word that right so I'll leave it at that.

Plan and simple: You need this game, This is some thing that you'll enjoy showing people--And I hope you do.

Valve softwear went above and beyond with this game, They worked their butts off for both versions of the game.

All the 9's and 10's and awards this game has gotten-They worked for...Blood, Sweat and Tears are on every texture, Every character model, Every thing had love put into it.

Guess it's good to see the old-man XBox go out with a bang and one hell of a bang it is!
