"Public School: The videogame"

As you probably already know, Conker: Live and Reloaded, is a remake of a classic Nintendo 64 game, Conker's Bad Fur Day. The original was one of the top games for the system. I dunno why, it could've been because of the adult themes, the outragious humor, or because it's just so good of a game. Live and Reloaded, for the most part, is true to the original. Except for some changes, the main games are the exact same. The biggest notable changes in the game are the multiplayer, and that more stuff has been censored this time around. But is it as good? Well, think about this. Take tons of adult humor, mix it with lots of blood and violent, yet, funny, deaths, and put in a giant poo monster, and you have 7th grade public school in videogame form.

Story: 10/10
Ok, most people would give this story a 1 out of 10, but that's just because it's so stupid. I give it a perfect 10, well, for the very same reason. Take most games. What is the story? Some bad guy is trying to take over the world, and some hero guy has to stop him. This is where the story is original. It's nothing like that at all. It's about this little squirrel named Conker. One night, with his pals, he gets drunk, and wanders off. Then, the next morning, he has the worst hangover ever, and wants to go home to go to bed. And through the entire game, he just can't seem to find his house. Then there is the bad guy. The Fabled Panther King. He's pissed because his 3 legged table keeps falling over, and he spills the milk. He has his top scientist look into the problem, and the scientist discovers the only way to "fill the gap" is put a red squirrel there. See what's going on here?

Gameplay: 8/10
The gameplay is pretty solid. In some instances, it's kinda hard, but other than that, not many problems. Two big differences between this, and CBFD, are that 1, Conker's weapon is a baseball bat instead of a frying pan, and 2, there are actually enemies that you can kill with the baseball bat this time. Now, the gameplay for the single player is all fine and dandy, but what about the multiplayer? Well, in my opinion, it sucks. They should've implamented the entire multiplayer from the original into this. It would at least hold my interest for a bit longer.

Graphics: 10/10
Just like CBFD was to N64, CL&R is to Xbox. This game has arguably some of the best graphics of any game on the system. Everything looks, well, beautiful. From the flowing mountain of poo, to the lake of blood, it looks awesome. The blood also looks very realistic compared to BFD. Once you take an awesome game from N64, and put it on the Xbox, you really see the big difference in graphics.

Music and Sound: 10/10
The music sounds very good in the game. It's very nice to listen to, and it goes good with the on screen action. There's not much else I can say, because, you know it's music. It's either good or it's bad.

Replayability: 8/10
The game is too good to only go through 1 time. You gotta go through more than once. The game is short for a reason, you know. The humore doesn't even go away after you've gone through it several times. It's always funny. Definately a good game that will keep you playing through several times after the initial play through. You can have fun with this game for years. Though, after a while, I guess it could get kinda boring.

Final Score: 9/10
This game is almost perfect. To go that extra mile, though, and polish up the multiplayer, and make it longer, would be just awesome. And mabey some time in the near future we could expect a sequal from Rare. But don't hold your breathe, because after almost 5 years, instead of giving us a sequal, they gave us a remake. Still good though. The graphics are amazing, and the game itself will keep you laughing for years to come.
