"Adds more substance but does nothing to fix the numerous flaws of the original"

Before I start I want to highlight the new material that they added in Lost Chapters.

-There is expanded storyline content after beating the original
-There are more cutscenes during the original game
-There are a few more weapons/armor/tattoos/haircuts
-There are a few new areas to explore
-There are two new powerful spells to master

With that being said, if you have the original Fable than you may not want to purchase this game. There really isn't anything that warrants another purchase. But if you are a huge fan of Fable and want to the extra things for $20, go at it. But when you buy the Lost Chapters you must start from the beginning. There is no way to convert a save file from Fable to Fable The Lost Chapters. The extended story takes only about another hour to complete and it doesn't yield any better rewards. Though the new content certainly makes the game longer, it still doesn't fix any of the problems of the original, and it still does not deserve to be called an RPG.

Graphics- 8/10- Same as the original. There is still a lot of lag, some choppy frame rates, and some character models look terrible. All guards, townspeople, mercenaries look the same. Backgrounds are still large and beautiful.

Sound- 6/10- Music still sucks. Voice acting still sucks. Wasps still sound like horses. And all voice actors sound the same.

Gameplay- 7/10- The fighting is the same as Fable and therefore pretty addictive. It's simple but it never gets boring or repetitive with three different types of attacks and a load of magic to unleash on your foes. You still have a lot options when it comes to customization of your Hero but I still feel limited as a gamer. I want to be able to customize my Hero much better. I want to feel like my house is a real house. Where I can cook, remodel, decorate it (myself), plant a garden etc. I want to be able to have kids (and to name them funny names). You might think this game is not linear but it really is. Changing from being evil to good, or fat to skinny doesn't change the experience you have in the game. And it should.

Story- 5/10- Still horrendous. The same story except something happens after beating the original. It still has more holes than a box of Cherios and I still don't feel for any of the characters including my Hero.

Replayability- 6/10- There isn't much replayibilty here. You can keep going with the game after beating it but there really is no point. There are no quests or anything to accomplish except the sidequests. You can always start a new game but creating a different Hero doesn't change the experience of the game at all.

Overall- 7/10- This adds a few more things to do to the original but doesn't fix the problems of the first and doesn't make a better game wither. For $20 it might be worthy of a buy if you haven't played the original. If you have it's really up to you if you want to spend the dough.
