Shadow the Hedgehog is a game based off Sonics archrival Shadow of course! The game series tryst to take a more mature direction with new features such as guns and vehicles but is it all good in the end? Here is my Review of Shadow the hedgehog

Graphics 6/0 it seems the series has gone a little bit down hill with the graphics since Sonic Heroes. Most cut scenes are weak in graphic power. However, there are a few that stand out but that is just a few. Game graphics are okay but backgrounds could use more work Seriously Sonic Team what where you thinking

Story 10/10 this is where the game really shines. You have to discover the mystery of Shadows past and its all in your hands. Hero or villain it is whatever you want. Want to go blow up some Gun solders. Go ahead the way you play influences the storyline, which is somewhat cool. There are 10 different endings and over 300 unique paths. So get ready for a roller coaster ride of a lifetime

Game play 6/10 the game play of this game does not shine as much as the story does. Shadow can be very hard to control at top speeds and the homing attack can easily lend to cheap deaths. however most of this can be avoided. Gunplay is executed well in this game but could use its improvements. Shadow stays true to the sonic formula of fast-paced action but do not go to fast you might fall into a bottomless pit!

Sound 8/10 the game has a good soundtrack featuring bands such as Power man 5000 and Crush 40. The main theme I Am All of Me. Is possibly one of the best Sonic song in quite a while. The sound affects however are still the same as they used to be but that has not to say that there horrible.

Replay Value 20/10The Replay Value of this game is amazing. With over 300 paths and a fair amount of un lockables, this game is sweet when it comes to this section. 2-player mode also adds a little bit of value but not much.

Overall
Shadow the Hedgehog is a good Sonic spin off game. It could have been a lot better but it is not that half bad as it is. You might want to rent this game at first but once you are hooked, Buy Buy Buy!
