"Why does everybody hate this game?"

Seriously, people! Sure this game might get a little boring sometimes, but isn't it the thought and the effort that really count? I've been playing this game for some time now and its gotten boring a few times, but I didn't give up on it and neither should you!

STORY - 5/10
I really have no idea what this game is about except the fact that you're in a gang tryin' to take down the opposing gang. Pretty sucky story, then.

GAMEPLAY - 7/10
The gameplay sort of alternates.At least I think so. Sometimes the gameplay is fun, sometimes it sucks. I like the fact that this is a free roaming game, but you can't take any cars or any type of vehicle. You can go around and just attack people for the heck of it, but wouldn't it be more fun if you could run down those same people with a nice big truck?

GRAPHICS - 5/10
One of the worst parts of the game. The cinematic graphics are all right, but the gameplay graphics are pretty bad. The environments look like chalk drawings as do the characters, cars, and any other part of the game. Come on, Konami, surely you could have done better. Think of the Metal Gear Solid games and their graphics. You did good there. Why not here?

SOUND - 9/10
The best part of this game. Not the gameplay sounds, they suck, although the voice acting is pretty good. The music, that's it. The music is awesome! D12 really highlights this game. I am a big D12 fan and it's good to see a good band like this in a good game like this. A good mix this is. A real disappointment is that there's only one D12 song in the game. Oh well. There's all that other nice music in there to make up for it.

REPLAY VALUE - 2/10
I really don't know why you would want to play this game again after beating it. Maybe it's because you like the game. Maybe it's because you want to unlock all the unlockables. Otherwise, the fun ends here!

OVERALL - 8/10
A lot of people don't like this game because it doesn't match the standards of the modern Grand Theft Auto titles. I don't think it's fair that we compare this game to GTA. Just because this game doesn't reach GTA's level doesn't mean it's a crappy game.
