A simple guide for gaining all of the achievements in Forza Motorsport 2.

Basic Achievements (2.0)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1,000,000 Online Credits - 30gs
Description: Earn 1,000,000 "Online Credits" from tournaments and Career races.
You MUST race online to gain this achievement. And lots of racing at that.
Earning money from the auction house DOES NOT count.
You can check how many credits you've won by going into Single Player Career
and pressing RB [Right Bumper].
Car Broker - 20gs
Description: Buy or sell 10 cars on the Auction House.
Another online-only achievement. It does not matter what cars you buy or sell,
as long as you make the purchase (Or sale)
Note that you need Xbox Live Gold to be able to use the Auction House.

All Bronze Arcade - 15gs
Description: Achieve a Bronze medal in every Arcade race.
Come in third in all races in Arcade Mode to gain this achievement.
All Silver Arcade - 25gs
Description: Achieve a Silver medal in every Arcade race.
Come in second in all races in Arcade Mode to obtain this achievement.
Note that beating all the tracks with Silver will automatically unlock the
previous achievement.
All Gold Arcade - 35gs
Description: Achieve a Gold medal in every Arcade race.
Come in first in all races in Arcade Mode to obtain this achievement.
Note that beating all the tracks with Gold will automatically unlock the
previous achievements.
All Time Trials Set - 40gs
Description: Beat the target time in every Time Trial race.
...Easier said then done, but. Simply beat the Time Trial's target times.

Flawless Lap - 5gs
Description: Awarded to the driver(s) who finishes a lap with no time penalty
against an opponent.
Despite what it sounds like, you do NOT have to be in first place to obtain this
achievement. You simply have to finish 1 Lap without a time penalty. This means
not going off the track, hitting an opponent, hitting a wall, etc.
Flawless Race - 5gs
Description: Awarded to the driver(s) who finishes the race with no time penalty
against an opponent.
Exactly like before. You do NOT have to come in first place.
Crushing victory - 5gs
Description: Awarded to any driver who finishes the race with a lapped opponent.
Simply lap your opponent to get this.
Any race that involves 'Nissan Speedway' is a good way to obtain this one.
Blowout - 5gs
Description: Awarded to the driver who wins the race, beating the rest of the
field by a full race section.
This achievement is slightly different from the above. You gain this one by
not quite lapping the opponent, basically you have be ahead by MORE then half
the track, but not quite lapping the opponent.
However, with that being said, you can ALSO earn this achievement even if you
lap the opponent.
This is basically a half-way between Crushing Victory.
Hard Charger - 5gs
Description: Awarded to the driver who starts in 8th place and comes in first
place.
Simple as that. Start in 8th, and come in first. I suggest trying to get this
either through the R-class car races, or one of the beginning Proving Ground
races.
However, the R-class races are probably best because all the cars are similar.
Underdog - 5gs
Description: Awarded to the driver who wins the race with a car in the lowest
PI of the field.
This one is a little bit more flexible then the above one. You are allowed to
come in third place or higher, with a car that has the lowest PI
[Performance Index] in the race. This can be a little difficult, however you
CAN also do it using the R-class cars. Even though they have no VISIBLE
Performance Index on then, they in fact do them. Just use the car on the VERY
LEFT of your R-Class list.

Performance Index is that little number sitting beside your cars class, the
more parts you slap on your car, the higher this number goes. You want this
number as low as possible for this achievement.

Natural - 5gs
Description: Awarded to the single driver who wins the race with all Assists
turned off.
Rather easy this one, note that almost ANYTHING that benefits you is an
'assist'. However, this does NOT include Simulation damage or Fuel/Tire Wear.
This mean that the difficulty options MUST be like this:
Suggested Line: Off
ABS: Off
TCS: Off
STM: Off
Transmission: Manual
A.I Difficulty: [Does not matter]
Damage: [Doesn't matter]
Fuel/Tire Wear: [Doesn't matter]
The ABSOLUTE BEST race to do this in is 'Nissan Speedway' in the 'Nissan Racing
Club' in the Manufacturer's Race Club. Buy a Skyline and upgrade it fully to
U999 and race. Practice with Manual a bit first though.
Hardcore - 5gs
Description: Awarded to the single driver who wins the race with full Difficulty
including no assists.
This one is HARD. You cannot have ANY assists on PERIOD and the A.I must be set
to Hard.
This mean that the difficulty options MUST be like this:
Suggested Line: Off
ABS: Off
TCS: Off
STM: Off
Transmission: Manual
A.I Difficulty: Hard
Damage: Simulation
Fuel/Tire Wear: Simulation
Just like Natural, the best race is Nissan Speedway in the Nissan Racing Club,
using a fully upgraded U999 Skyline.
However, unlike Natural, you MUST have Simulation Damage on and Fuel/Tire Wear
set to Simulation.
Car Level 5 - 5gs
Description: Achieve a car level of 5 in Career Mode.
Easy enough, just level a car to Level 5, this can be EASILY done in the
Endurance class of races.

Description: Reach Level 1 in Career Mode.
Level 10 - 15gs
Description: Reach Level 10 in Career Mode.
Level 20 - 20gs
Description: Reach Level 20 in Career Mode.
Level 30 - 30gs
Description: Reach Level 30 in Career Mode.
Level 40 - 40gs
Description: Reach Level 40 in Career Mode.
Level 50 - 50gs
Description: Reach Level 50 in Career Mode.

Description: Achieve a gold medal in every Career event of the Proving Grounds
race type.
All gold (Amatuer Cup) - 25gs
Description: Achieve a gold medal in every Career event of the Amatuer race
type.
All gold (Manufacturer's Club) - 20gs
Description: Achieve a gold medal in every Career event of the Manufacturer's
race type.
All Gold (Rivalry Face-offs) - 30gs
Description: Achieve a gold medal in every Career event of the Rivalry race
type.
All Gold (Semi-Pro Events) -35gs
Description: Achieve a gold medal in every Career event of the Semi-Pro race
type.
All Gold (Factory-Spec) - 50gs
Description: Achieve a gold medal in every Career event of the Pro-Spec race
type.

You MUST HAVE the cars IN your garage at the same for these achievements to be
gained.
Another note:
You DO NOT need DLC, the Unicorn Cars OR the 'Special' edition cars in order
to get these achievements.
Also, if you HAVE DLC cars, you do not need to buy those cars in order to
get these achievements.
All Cars from France - 1gs
Description: Collect all of the cars from France in your Career garage.
All Cars from Korea - 1gs
Description: Collect all of the cars from Korea in your Career garage.
All Cars from Spain - 1gs
Description: Collect all of the cars from Spain in your Career garage.
All Cars from Sweden - 2gs
Description: Collect all of the cars from Sweden in your Career garage.
All Cars from United Kingdom - 5gs
Description: Collect all of the cars from the United Kingdom in your Career
garage.
All Cars from Italy - 10gs
Description: Collect all of the cars from Italy in your Career garage.

Description: All Production Cars.
Purchase/win all cars labeled as a Production Car.
Secret Collector 2 - 30 gs
Description: All Aftermarket tuner cars.
Purchase/win all cars labeled as a Tuner car. (Example: HKS Evolution Lancer)
Secret Collector 3 - 30gs
Description: All race cars.
Purchase/win all R-class Cars.
Secret Collector 4 - 30gs
Description: All cars.
Purchase/win ALL of the cars in the game.
Note that you DO NOT need DLC, the Unicorn Cars OR the 'Special' edition cars
in order to get these achievements either.
If you DO have DLC, you do not need to purchase them in order to get this.

Q: Can I use a Hired Driver to win achievements for me?
A: A majority of them can be won, yes.
However you CANNOT get the 'Hardcore' or 'Natural' achievements using a Hired
Driver. As the AI (Including hired) ALWAYS races with:
Automatic Transmission, ABS on, TCS on and STM on.
