Welcome to my walkthrough of the Final Fantasy Tower Defense game: Crystal
Defenders. This is the first time I've written a guide after countless years of
coming to gameFAQs to read them. I've tried to keep it simple; just a basic
walkthrough for getting a perfect on each level and only the most basic of
ASCII titles.
I wrote this primarily because I wanted to help people earn the Good Samaritan
trophy. I found a video on youTube that demonstrated how to achieve it, but it
was hard to follow and many people were confused. At first, I wrote out
instructions based on that video, but sharing just those notes was impractical
so I decided to sit down and map out the whole game. Following this guide will
earn you that trophy and all others as well (once it's complete; for now, it
takes care of the hard ones).
You'll also notice there isn't a legal disclaimer here and I don't plan on
adding one. I reserve no rights to this guide whatsoever; you may do with it
what you will. I even included blanks of my level maps so you can post your own
strategies. Should you reuse anything, I'd appreciate you simply mentioning
where you got it, but I certainly won't cry plagiarism if you don't.

@@ Border: These places are found along the edge and are like obstacles in
@@ that neither enemies nor towers can go there. They never get in the way.
## Small Obstacle: These are rough spots you can't place a tower on. This
## kind forces ground troops to walk around but don't hinder ranged attacks.
$$ Large Obstacle: In addition to blocking ground units' paths, these
$$ also limit the line of site of ranged attackers like archers and mages.
|| Enemy Path: These are the roads your enemies will travel. You cannot place
|| towers here. Entry/exit points occur where the road meets the edge.
Player Domain: White space indicates where you can place your towers. On
this scale, towers take up a 2 x 2 area.
A\ Towers: These locations (marked by all letters A-Z and a-z) are where my
\/ strategy calls for placing a unit. Unit details appear in the walkthrough.
