.. when I play multiplayer with my friend, he kills me so fast with the saber sword, even when we clash..
Switch to Bumper Jumper so you can use the melee button and turn around at the same time. The melee button would be the left bumper and jump would be the right bumper.

statusRight trigger is for lunging at a distance. The b button is for sword fights as it attacks faster.

The swords melee lets you attack faster after a clash. Although if both people melee, there is still a clash.
