Shuffle Guardians?

Has anyone discovered anything about the Shuffle Guardians on the Downloadable Content Map?

Yeah, when you get the eighth octagon crystal a treasure chest appears and if you put all eight in the keyholes it opens and gives you the Shuffle Key.

I think it has something to do with gettng all to "octagon crystals"(I think that's what they're called). You get one whenever you complete the shuffle dungeon. There are probably eight of them, since an octagon has eight sides, and maybe when you collect them all you get the key that opens the chest? That's just a guess, but I'm pretty sure that whatever you have to do you do it in the shuffle dungeon.
