Umm. do i have to download them off of Xbox live or what>
You have to purchase them off Xbox live (500 for heroes, 500 for villains, 800 for both packs). Unless you have Gold version then they come in it

statusThe only way to get the eight secret characters - Hawkeye, Cyclops, Hulk, Venom, Nightcrawler, Dr. Doom, Magneto, and Sabretooth - is to buy them from XBOX Live. You can get each of them separately for 80 points, each Villain or Hero pack for 500, or all eight at once for a discounted 800 points.
