Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

Ok..... To Start, Was it even Activisions intention for you to be able to max out your stats without cheating.?

I gotta Say I've played through Normal once, and Hard twice each time transferring my progress and have barely maxed out 2 Superheroes. All the while collecting every single Marvel coin I can find (including smashing every breakable object which may contain hidden Marvel coins)

Im playing MUA:Gold Edition and with 33 Characters to Max Out I don't forsee this happening without atleast 60 playthroughs or more.

So my question... Is there a strategy to rake in tons of Marvel coin without cheating?

Or do I sit forever disappointed in Activision for not allowing me the pleasure of Maxing out my superheroes without 1000's of hours in gameplay.

BTW- I will not cheat because I have yet to earn all of my acheivements for this game. Also by Maxing out I am including all four of a characters outfits.

Well, it is definitely near impossible to upgrade using just Shield tokens, I've done the math and it would take almost an unbelievable 200,000,000 in tokens.

On one playthrough on Hard mode I can collect about 3,000,000 in tokens.

For anyone that is interested, the best way I have found to collect easy tokens is a combination of strategies.

First you need to be at the start of Mephisto's Realm, At the Shield Save Point Put Doctor Strange, Thor, Storm, and Black Panther in your party to get the Bonus: 60% Extra Credit

Right off the bat this will more than Triple the speed at which you earn Shield tokens,
Next If You have 135,000 in tokens Equip Doctor Strange's Ultimate Outfit and Max it out, this isn't neccessary but will significantly add to your Skills and Stats.

Next take all the skill points you can and Max out Doctor Strange's Mystic Bolts and assign it to your Favorite Button, You'll be tapping this button repeatedly for this trick.

Now go to the first path to the North East of the Shield save point. This is where you need to toss the Leapers into the Lava pit to lower the pedestal except you don't for this trick.

Go to the top of this area and you see a small lava patch near the cliff where a Leaper will infinitely respawn, now position yourself with your back to the edge and face the lava patch and unload your Mystic Bolts. Don't worry about collecting the shield tokens, your teammates will do the collecting.

If you maxed out both your outfit and Mystic Bolts before doing this You will score many Instant kills, if you should run out of Energy, just use your Extreme Power and this should refill Your energy.

I did this for about an hour and pulled in over 500,000 Shield tokens not too mention I was level 99 at the end of this. Doctor strange was only at level 82 when I started.

I hope this helps someone. It took me 3 weeks to make this discovery.
