Yea, you have to get on the cover of either Thrasher, or Skateboard mag. I suggest mainly sticking with one until you finish it, I found Skateboard mag very easy to do this on.

statusIn order to open up the X Games, you have to finish either all of the Skateboard Mag goals or all of the Thrasher goals and getting on either cover.
