Answer

It does that to me once in awhile. Just let it sit for awhile, and it will load. Also, judging by your question, you watch the beginning video. Try skipping it and see if it loads better.

A few things. What is the condition of your xbox?: Does it tend to lag on other games? Do other games have problems loading? // What is the condition of the disc?: Is it scratched? Does it make sounds when running? Does it make sounds when it lags? << These questions should help you determine the problem. If it's the xbox, call Xbox Support. If it's the disc, get a new disc or repair the one you have.

Now, another thing you could try is to install the game onto the xbox it self. (WARNING! You must have 5.0 GB of memory free to install it onto your xbox.) Installing games onto your xbox tend to make it easier for the machine and tends to operate better during game play.

To install a game onto your xbox: On the dashboard under "My Xbox" there will be Play disc, User account active, Game Library, Video Library, etc. (Just so you know where I'm talking about.) Be on the game disc window. You will have two options. "A" Select (a.k.a. start game) and "Y" Game Details. Click "Y" for game details which will bring up a different window. The options on that window are: Play game, Downloads, Install to Hard Drive. Highlight and click on install to hard drive. (Note: You do not have to install the game onto your hard drive, this is just a possibility for removing your problem with that loading screen.)

Other then all those options with trying to fix the problem there's just one more... just wait and see if the game loads by itself. Lol.

Hope this helped.

I had this problem a few days back. My friend recommended downloading the game to my hard drive, and that has remedied the issue. It takes up a ton of space though, about 4.7 gb, so if you don't have room, I'd skip that suggestion.

Otherwise, you're game might be scratched or burned as a result of tipping you're console over or some other horrible, horrible thing. In that case, you may have to get a new game... :(

Oh, and just in case you did not know, you still need the disc to play even after you download the game to your hard drive. I, being a fool, thought I could just rent it from Blockbuster, download it, and be on my merry way... a good waste of 10 bucks :p.

Hope that helps and good luck!

Answer

You may have a bad copy of the disc, you should try installing the game to the hard-drive. This may help, but if it doesn't, you may have to procure a new copy.
