Devil May Cry 4
Question from tpbloomfield
Asked on: 9/3 2:56PMIn the manual's story introduction (pages 4&5) it says that a powerful man appeared and assassinated the head of the Order. Am I right in guessing that's the opening clip to the first level, or was there another head of the Order or something? Because after that (on page 5) it goes on to say that a number of demons appeared and attacked the city, and Nero recieved a minor injury to his right shoulder.
If the opening clip is what's decribed on page 4, then how does page 5 fit in? he's already got the injury in the clip...
Also, do we ever find out what demon injured him? because it is a rather interesting, albeit peculiar, injury (besides, i think his arm looks like Nelo Angelo's arm in DMC1)

I've already completed the game and it never mentions how he got his arm or what demon he was fighting...

His arm's in a sling, meaning he's already recieved the injury. You can tell from the look of the arm before Dante's sword hits it that it's going demonic... Rebellion might awaken it, but he had the injury already, that's why his arm was supported...

statusyeah thats what its talking about, as for his arm, uhm....
(Spoiler) dont read if you dont wanna know..........
thats cuz hes part demon. probably virgils son. or thats what my guess anyway. I could give more spoilers but just play the game.
I never heard of an injury. if anything it was probably when hes fighting dante. at one point he hits the case thing on his arm and it breaks. thats probably what ur thinking of.
Actually he's not injured,He wants to hide it from anyone especially Kyrie.
But he was forced to use it to defeat Dante the 1st time.
It was said that Nero has a normal arm until he's attacked by a demon.
Or in the final episode it was said 'God,I always hate You for making my arm like this' hinting like he's got the Devil Arm since born.
