How can I get better at HO/PO's?

I have beaten Expert, but I need help with extremely fast sets of HO/PO's, such as the ones in Shockwave and that one part in the beginning of Highway Star on Bass.

Try playing on practice at 50% then go higher and higher. If you see a dramatic decrease in percentage on a certain speed percent, focus on that speed and keep practicing the song on that speed. Once you get the majority of the song down, track down the certain areas of the song where you need help, such as the solos. Then try those parts at a slow percent and work up, repeating the proccess over again. This worked very well when I was trying to beat Run to the Hills on drums. I also did this on Guitar Hero and it really helped.

Don't give up, keep trying. Know where your fingers are and try to be as on time as possible. Tapping your foot in quater notes with the song helps with timing.

It really depends which type of HO/PO you'd like to practice.

Run to the Hills is good for Trills
Green Grass and High Tides is good for Triplets and Quads and Zig-Zags too.

The solo on Green Grash and High Tides is probably the best practice ground, but the solo(s) is (are) very tough.
