Asked on: 8/15 10:31PMDo you have to go through all 3 difficulties in order to net the 30 laptops? I collected 10 after finishing on regular and when I skipped hardened to veteran I havent seen any yet...
No, you can collect all 30 on Recruit if you want to. Difficulty doesn't affect where the laptops are.

statusThere are 4 difficulties, really, but you can get all 30 on any difficulty. Changing difficulties, however, doesn't make them reappear, nor does deleting your game data.
Most of them are pretty well hidden, so I'd recommend using a Youtube walkthrough for them. NextGenWalkthroughs is pretty good.
No. OK, so u got your 10 laptops on regular. if you finish the game with 10 laptops and switch to a higher difficulty, you will still have 20 more laptops to collect. Though the 10 you collected wont come back on the higher difficultly, the 20 remaining laptops will stay in the same spot.
No. If you use a cheat, the laptops do not disappear. However, if you have cheats on the level when you collect the 15th and 30th laptop, you don't get the achievement.
And, if that happens, then you'll never get the achievement, since the intels never come back after being collected.
Technically you can wipe all data of CoD4 off your xbox so you can recollect. You might lose achievements though.

Look at the nearby FAQ's 4 every single Intel location. They are not affected by Difficulty, nor what you do really. Play it on Recruit so that u get them witrh little trouble
