Soulcalibur IV
Question from projaru
Asked on: 8/17 7:15AMThe game doesn't seem to support autosave on 360 and I can't find a menu that allows the game to save. I power down and up again and my progress is lost. I'm signing in with the same profile and using the HDD. All other games that I play save correctly.

statusThere is an auto save feature built into the game after you beat the set requirement/ floors (as in for tower), or in story mode you have to play all the way through. There are no save points for in between for the game. So if this is not the case, how full is your hard drive? and have you tried moving your profile to a memory card and saving there?
Another way is go to create a character, open a character, anyone, go to edit, then u dnt have to do anything just leave back to the main menu and it will save automatically. even easier, copy a character to a slot, then delete it and leave back to the main menu. you see it tell u "saving...."
Okay, came on here to check ask this exact question. Here's why:
I completed story a couple of times, made a new Mitsu as well as a custom char, and got up to floor 10. After all that, I exited back to the title. When I came back in, everything I had done, all my gold, my two characters, everything I'd purchased, was all gone. ALL GONE.
Is there any other way to save besides the two listed above that apparentl don't work for me?

I go to options and click on stage music (dont know what its called exactly, i just know it says something about stage music), I dont have any downloaded stage music so ittl say music cannot be found, then ittl automatically save the game.
Sorry I cant be more specific
You have to have a HDD or memory card. When you first hit Start at the title screen, it will prompt you to choose a storage device.
It is already set for auto save if it is not then your HDD may not be plugged in all the way, try taking it off and putting it back on making sure it is secure and fitting tight.
