Chapter 8 + Shooting Truck = No "Test of Faith" achivement?

I've gone through the entire game not shooting an enemy to get the "Test of Faith" achievement (Complete the game without shooting an enemy), but in chapter 8 there's a segment where you must shoot a convoy of trucks with a sniper rifle. I'm wondering if anyone can confirm this does not affect me getting the achievement. I'm assuming it won't affect me getting it because I don't really have a choice in the matter.

Yes all you have to do is shoot where the engine is and you'll still get the achievement. I did this today. XD

Just beat the game. Answered my question myself... the segment does NOT affect the achievement.
