Street Fighter 2 has graced the gaming world with its legendary style and unforgettable charm, and now xbox 360 owners get to duke it out once more.

All the punches and kicks, bring back memories, along with the unforgettable special moves of every character; hadoukens have never sounded so beautiful. Along with the catchy tunes and jingles from the distinct levels, the sounds of Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting manage to bring a smile to my face. Im surprised these tunes have lasted for so long and will probably never get old.

Graphics: 6
The graphics of SF2 pretty much look the same as the original version, and the sprites dont really seem HD, but it always could have been worse.My personal favorite Street Fighter graphics were the anime like graphics of Street Fighter Alpha, and if you're a but spoiled like me then this might change your view on the graphics.

Gameplay: 7
The arcade mode proves to be as challenging as ever, even though it is simple to figure out the patterns of the different fighters. The fighters respond fluidly and the xbox 360 controller manages to hold up quite well for the game though I would take up a SNES controller any day over the new game-pad. What I think holds this game back the most is the online modes. The connection problems prove to be irritating and cripple the experience. It is a shame though as the online feature proves to be very entertaining. In my experience with the game I could not join an online ranked match through neither quick match nor custom match. When I create an online ranked match more often than not the match freezes in place and then counts down to 15, stating that it is attempting to establish a connection, but all it ends up doing is ejecting both fighters from the match.

All in all Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting proves to be a blast from the past that should not be missed, and if you're a bit skeptical download the trial version; if you can get over the online connection problems, Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting will grow on you
