"Man this good, very good"

OK lets get this straight. Im not a very big boxing fan. It just doesn't interest me. Im basing my review on this game and how enjoyable it is rather than how detailed and how ultra realistic in terms of the boxing of today.

Now if you've heard anything about this game on 360 from anybody, the first thing they would say to you is that it has killer visuals. Does it? Hell Yeah!!! Probably the most impressive part of the game is the beautiful eye candy it provides. Each boxer looks incredibly realistic with sweat and blood and many injuries to their bodies looking like the real thing. I often found myself drifting off during a fight look at how amazing this looks. Both the character models and each arena you fight in are amongst the best in videogame history. The only bad thing in terms of visuals is how bad some of the crowd look, but your not gonna be looking at them for too long anyway so it doesn't matter.

The gameplay is also very impressive, I found myself very addicted to it at some stages. Fight Night 3 has the usual exhibition, training and online modes but the career mode is where it comes out trumps. Like the usual career mode you find in any game, you begin at the bottom of the pile and you need to work your way up to the top by beating everybody in your way. But the difference here for me though was that it was very addictve, playing it for hours at a time. The career mode isn't hugely long either but its satisfactory.

In terms of controlling the boxers in the game I wouldn't have too much experience with other games so I cant compare but I can say that EA give you enough options to suit the way you wanna play. Default settings were are little weird for me but I soon changed the configuration and I was knocking everybody out. Very simple.

Overall, I have to say Im pretty impressed with how this game turned out. From the amazing visuals to the very well planned and thought out career mode, this game will keep you occupied for a long time.
