Call of Duty 3

"Call Of Duty does it again!"

I'm a big war-buff. I like the whole hero prevails against the impossible odds scenario. I've enjoyed Call of Duty games, but this one takes the cake. Many people are tired of the massive Cache of WW2 games out there, but they obviously haven't played Call of Duty 3 yet.

Gamplay: 8/10

This game places you in such a realistic atmosphere, that you actually feel like your in the middle of a giant war. Your enemies have a great AI system which makes bringing down your foes a little more challenging than "Duck Hunt", but at the same time, they're easy enough to keep the game moving along at a high pace, which maintains the fun factor. The Combat system is easy and is similar to the other Call of Duty games, so you can pick it up within a few minutes.

Story: 10/10

This game has a collaboration of different battles from WW2, just like all of the other Call Of Duty games. Each battle takes you all over the world as you fight alongside Americans, French, Australians, British, and all of the Allied Nations to take down the Axis Powers (Germany, Italy, Japan...etc.)

Graphics/Sound: 9/10

The graphics are stunning and do not disapoint at all. Everything from the ground to the soldiers to the Sky looks very real. The soundtrack elevates this game, by perfectly setting the mood for whatever situation you may be in. There is even a tease at the beginning of the game, where you think the level is over because of the tranquil music, but then your haven gets heavily attacked. Right then, I was sold on this game.

Play Time/Replayability: 7/10

Other than the online Multi-player, there isn't a whole lot for a second run through the game. Besides the occasional going back to replay your favorite level, you probably won't be playing this too much after you beat it once.

Final Recommendation: 8/10

This is probably my favorite WW2 game to date. I highly recommend this game, you won't be disappointed. It's a buy for the more hardcore gamers, a must rent for the casual gamer.
