Phantasy Star Universe

"Not bad for playing the series my first time.(SOLO)"

I will give you my best description of the solo playing in this game. I will try and not draw it out to far since I know you want to play it.

Controls: Decent controls, no real problems. There is a problem with limitations on weapon and item slots but most of the time if you keep them up to date there is no problem. Since you won't use all weapons or items in your item slot to often it should be easily avoidable. Overall the running around and looking and talking to everything is easy to do and understand. The controls are just really decent. Can't think of a way to make them better.

Graphics: Decent graphics, nothing seriously stunning but you can tell it's a 360 game at least in the cinematic scenes. The gameplay not so much but I'm personally not a graphics guy so this don't effect the overall gameplay since the loads are quick and the draw distance is good.

Gameplay: Good story line that is easy to pick right up since it's new and easy to follow to the end. Achievements are gotten just by beating the game once which I personally don't like but some people don't want to have to do special things in a game. There is the main story mission you can just go right through or you can do side missions after a while and doing so you get more exp to level up. There are 3 based types you can be. A melee type, ranger or mage type. They have special names of their own but I'll let you find out what they are. The game has a good feel and seems to make you want to play more and more to find out the rest of the story which is a good thing since I do believe alot of games need a good story to actually be a good game. Not all games do but RPGs it's a must have. You can even make items instead of buying them, upgrade weapons, buy and sell items. It's overall a pretty long game if you take the time to explore all the things you can do.

Overall(8/10): I believe there could be better graphics, maybe a bit more things to do in the game since it can get pretty boring after a while. If you are willing to pay around $10/month than you can go online and do missions with people online and buy and sell items online. There are updates I hear so the game is fixing alot of things. This game is good for possible 2 play throughs if you actually like the feel of this game. I would suggest you at least play it out first before you buy it since you'll like/love it or hate it pretty much. If you don't like rpgs or similar genres than you probably won't like Phantasy Star Universe.
