Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

"Is Lost Planet Extreme or just Plain Lost"

When I first hear of the game and played the demo I have to say the game looked like it may end up being as bad as Dead Rising, which was an ok game just had alot of problems, but when I saw the reviews and heard what the people say I decided to give it a try. Here is my review of the single and muli parts of the game.

Gameplay(7/10) I knew what I was getting into when I got this game standard run and gun which was fine in my book but I have to say that it does seem like Capcom slapped a new skin on an old format. The new part is that you have a grappling hook that can only be used when standing still, that sucks,but there isa good thing the Vital Suits are totally bada$$ and feel like they have some real fire power and are a blast to play. Also the bosses are aggressive, huge and challenging on any skill level. Too bad the enemies in between the bosses are really, really boring.

Graphics(9/10) Absolutely beautiful the cutscenes are a thing to watch and the in game graphics are even better than GeOW, but it may be because the environments are much more varied than GeOW. Anyway the graphics are the best I have seen on the 360.

Story(8/10) The story follows a young space pirate named Wayne who loses his memory and his father an attack on his group after he is rescued buy a group of space pirates trying to rid the world of the Akrid by destroying the Hives. Anyway I won't spoil anymore and will leave you to find out the rest for yourself, but it is good believe me.

Sound(10/10) The music, what actually plays, is a joy to the ears and definitely sell the game along side with the great voice acting and superb SFX.

Overall Rating: 8 out of 10

Muliplayer(7/10) The multiplayer is absolutely nothing new with standard deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, and one unique mode called Fugitive that has the map creator go up against every one else.

So there is my review over all I liked the game with it enjoyable story and ok multiplayer it is a definite buy, so enjoy.
