Crackdown

"Crackdown- One of the BEST games out there.."

This is an amazing game. It has a great excitement along with many things to do. It is very challenging, and lastes a while(unless you have no life and play 24/7). This is like a GTA except better. The explosives are more realistic, the jumping features are amazing, etc.

Graphics:10/10
They brought a nice aspect into the game with the graphics. They call it "Cell Shading". It looks a little comic book/cartoonish, but it fits the style of gameplay extremely well, as this game is the least bit realistic. Its not very graphic when it comes to blood, compared to other sandbox games like Saints Row or GTA.

Sound:8/10
It has good, realistic noises for explosions and gun firings. It has impact noises when you jump high and fall. I dont usually listen to the sound, but when I have, I was quite impressed. The only real problem is some of the music in the cars is really annoying.

Skills/Leveling:10/10
There are basically 5 skills, and as you level them up, you get better with them, deal more damage, jump higher, etc. This is a great system that makes the game enjoyable, as you are searching for things such as Agility Orbs. You would think that as you level up, the game gets easier(if you've played the demo), right? WRONG! It gets more challenging.

Difficulty:8/10
The bosses are also very hard. The first 4 in the demo where very easy. Well, after the first 3 or 4, they arent easy anymore. Some of them include trickery and hard thinking as well.

Storyline:6/10
The main downside to this game is that there is no "Storyline". There are 3 missions in this game. Eliminate all members of certain gangs. This takes a while, but there isnt any storyline or adventure. There are also no side missions really, except for a few car races here and there.

Overall:9/10
This game is great fun, and although it doesn't have a great storyline, and a few problems here and there, it is very fun. If ou ever get fun, searching for hidden orbs, or even king-konging around is extremely fun. In my Opinion, this is in the top 3 games with Gears of War and Viva Pinata.
