"Best baseball game I've ever played!"

All in all, MLB 2k7 is the best baseball game I've ever played for any system, and yes, I have played MVP 2005, but, surprisingly, this game beats it out.

Graphics: 10/10
These are some of the best graphics I have ever seen for any game. Ever player looks almost identical to their real-life counterpart. The playing field looks amazing with dirt being kicked everywhere and every blade of grass moves in the outfield. The crowd looks pretty good, you can actually see people standing up to try and catch foul balls which I think is pretty cool.

Presentation: 9/10
The presentation of this game is great, the menus are all easy to access and there are many options that can help tweak the game to your needs.
I think the announcers, Jon Miller and Joe Morgan do a great job in this game providing insight on almost every player when he steps up to bat, and sometimes giving tips to players as the game progresses.

Sound: 8/10
The in-game sound is great, you can hear fans shouting things at the batters and hear plenty of great classic tunes played in ballparks. The game soundtrack is pretty good, some songs I found to be a little iffy, but it is pretty good overall. I just wish you could actually hear the players shouting "I got it" when you call off a catch, that would be pretty cool.

Controls: 10/10
Once you get used to them, these games controls are great and the game will run seamlessly once you get them down. All the pitches are controlled by one button, throwing to a base is as easy as hitting that bases button, whereas B=first, second=Y, X=third, and A=home plate. Batting is pretty easy with the new swingstick, and the baserunning system is great too, allowing for outstanding control of your baserunners.

Gameplay: 9/10
This game plays so flawlessly and operates like a real game. As in real life, timing is everything in that you have to swing at the right time to get a good base hit, you need to change pitches and pitch balls and strikes to fool batters and ensure they don't get too many hits off of you, and you need to know when it's the right time to bring in a new pitcher. All the teams are represented very well but there are some players in the game who have different names, like of course Barry Bonds is Joe Young in the game. The only problem I have with the gameplay is that there is not only alot of home runs, but there is also a lot of robbed home runs. Like it is easy sometimes to rob a home run from somebody, and the computer does it to you a lot. Other then that, the gameplay is awesome.

Online: 8/10
As with any game, you will get immature gamers in the community who you'll end up playing and they sometimes try to ruin the game by playing all 5 starting pitchers or pitching only balls. But, for the most part, the community is mature gamers who know the game of baseball and play the game fairly.

Overall: 9/10
Minus a few minor flaws, this is the perfect baseball game for any gamer and I would recommend it to any fan of pro baseball. This game is ten times better then MLB 2k6 and is up there with games like MVP 2005. This is an amazing game, go pick it up.
