I had the PS2 version of PES6, I then bought myself an XBox 360 and was drooling at the thought of my beloved PES6 on a next gen console, but then I played it, read on.......

Graphics 8/10

Well it is an XBox 360 so the graphics have to be great don't they? They are good but not what you would call eye candy and not what you would expect from a next gen console, but good enough.

Gameplay 5/10

The score of 5 is based on the major faults with the Xbox 360 version, first major fault YOU CANNOT EDIT KITS OR TEAM NAMES, yes you heard correct with all the power a 360 has it won't let you edit any kits or change any of the silly names, Liverpool stay as Merseyside Reds, Chelsea West London Blues etc. not a major problem, but surely something they could have added easily enough.

The second major fault YOU CANNOT SAVE REPLAYS, yes again you heard correct, whenever you score one of those sweet goals that you want to cherish forever especially if it is a last minute screamer to beat your mate, forget it you can not save any replays at all, pathetic.

Offline 5/10

A major let down when you compare it to the far superior PS2 version especially with the 2 major faults I have listed, playing offline on the 360 can become tiresome and hardly worthwhile, sure you can unlock achievements, but what use are they really?

Online 7/10

Any game of football online is good, although you may experience the odd slowdown and a lot of players who only use the top teams like Inter because of Adriano, Barcelona because of Ronaldinho or Brazil because of Adriano and Ronaldinho, there are also a lot of people on XBox live who can't take it when you are beating them and they disconnect before the game is over to go and sulk somewhere, but you will get some cracking games online.

Overall 6/10

No way near as good as you would think, but hey it is Pro Evo and give me this ahead of the FIFA series any day, I only really play this game online now and can't help but think it all feels too rushed and a missed opportunity.
