NCAA Football 07

"Great but not a perfect touchdown."

This game is enjoyable but does have some flaws that it needs to work out. I think it is pretty fun though, after all when have a few minor flaws ruined a game?
Graphics- 9
There really is not a problem here; just some animations look sort of strange. One thing that Madden did that this did not was make the characters look all sweaty after playing for a while. One nice thing is the helmets. The helmets get scratched and are pretty nice looking overall. So graphics overall are good but some animations ruin it.

Game play- 8
Sure I know that this is a football game and you can't expect much innovation in it, but this feels too same compared to the last NCAA game. There are some nice features though like challenging the play (which I have actually done, and it worked) and nice mini-games. One I like is called tug of rope. First one team gets one play, however far they get the other team starts there etc. etc. until someone gets a touchdown. They are more like bowling but I prefer tug of rope over them all. Also unlike most sports games, some of the achievements are difficult to get. Overall it is fun but not really new.

Sound- 10
WOW, this is where NCAA really shines. The cheering of crowds after a big play really creates a magnificent atmosphere. Trust me, the first time you hear it you will feel like you are right there in the game. The announcer also does a good job, but is still slow. An example would be "AND HE CATCHES IT!" after you caught it 5 seconds ago. Really you have to experience it first hand to really feel the excitement and adrenaline of it.

Replay Value- 9
Well this is a football game, and it does not have a story line so that right there adds a lot of replay to it. The dynasty mode also is pretty much an endless thing. So why the 9? I gave it a nine since it gets a little repetitive after a while, like I said there is not much new in this game. Still there is a lot of replay to it if you like football.

Rent or Buy. You may want to rent it if you aren't all that into football but if you are definitely buy. I personally suggest to BUY it. Really this is a great game if you get past some of the more annoying flaws.
