"Not quite "Oblivion on Steroids""

All the hype for this game led people to believe it was going to be something that it's not. With some minor flaws that can be fixed with patches this game is still very fun. Here's my review.

Story: 5/10 I found the story to be one of the worst aspects of this game overall. It's a very basic story for a RPG. When you start out, you have no clue whats going on and then it shows you (the main character) and your sister on a horse. There is something wrong with her, she is either sick or wounded but she falls off the horse, and your character walks to the nearest house for shelter, when he comes back his sister is gone and then BAM! It says "several months later" and the cut scene starts off in a town where your character has just traveled to.

Sound: 6/10 The music in Two Worlds is very out of place. For example you'll be walking through a city and all of a sudden you will hear a guitar riff with some orchestral singing. But you can turn that off in the sounds menu so it's not a big deal at all. Environment sounds are very good except at time you will hear a random bird that is 10x louder than the rest. Which is a little weird but shouldn't effect game play at all. You get used to it.

Controls: 9/10 Controls are pretty good. The D-Pad is used as a way to switch your Hot Key for Weapons and Spells. Lt is the Hot key and Rt is your attack. Everything is basic and easy to figure out .

Graphics: 8/10 Most of the time the graphics are great. But for some people there is some serious Frame Rate issues that should have been resolved before release. Environments are Beautiful, and there is a nice variety of different weather affects. But some of the characters in the game have really bad looking faces.

Multi-Player: 8/10 In Multi-Player you are able to choose either Male Human or elf or Female Human or Elf. when creating a character for Multi-Player you get to pick a class. Either Warrior, Sword Dancer, Ranger, Barbarian, Archer, Thief, Knight, Water Mage, Air Mage, Fire Mage, Earth Mage, and Necromancer. There are a few different modes like Death Match and Horse Racing. With up to 8 players.

Voice Acting: 2/10 I just had to give this its own category. The Voice Acting in this game is the biggest joke. I couldn't believe how bad some of it is. After a while you get used to it but the first time you hear the Main Characters voice you will probably just say WOW.

Overall: 7/10 Two Worlds has many good things about it, but it's not what it was hyped up to be. If your absolutely looking for a new RPG then you should definitely buy it. But if your not quite sure then try renting it first to see how you like it.
