"''Its like that'' Review"

Graphics 9/10 - The basketball 2k series have never let us down on the graphics, and the same could be said for thing game. The players look greatly detailed, like if you stood from afar and took a glance at this game you would thing that some NBA team was actually playing. The fans are ok, but 2k could have done better.

Gameplay 9/10 - The gameplay would have been a 10 if not for a certain defensive glitch that ruins the fun online and offline. The new foot planting technology really adds another level to the game. No longer are you forced to play like NBA Jam, you have to actually do things that are real. For example, a shooter has to catch the ball, pivot is foot, and then shoot the ball, unlike last years game. The only
downside about the gameplay is that sometimes that game makes you do thing you don't want to do, for instance if you just run around the court (without turbo/sprint) sometimes you will but put into a animation that makes you drive. Also their is a DOUBLE TEAMING glitch which if you press LB and the animation starts, all you have to do is tap X and the player will aggressively snatch the ball from the ballhandler, luckily as long as past the ball around you might not experience it as often

Presentation 8/10 - The presentation is great, because of the atmosphere in the game and the slick menus they offer. In the game, the commentators actually aren't that boring anymore. You will often see that commentators go off into side conversations when the game momentum is slow, and the announcers will get excited when you get that ''Oh So Good'' dunk, or are in the final moments of the game. The crowd also gets into the game. The crowd screams the name of certain players when shooting jumpshots, and also gets loud when the home team has made a big play.

Sound 7/10 - Almost every year we are left with the ''Who The Heck Is This'' soundtrack but at least we have run dmc on it. The Crowd is very loud at crucial moments. You can hear almost everything on the floor, players sneakers, foot steps, the ball bouncing, the ''Cuff'' of the net, and when Amare slams it home. But, it just feels like something is left out..

Final score 8.5/10 - The game itself is different then its rival (NBA Live 08) and plays like a 1st tier basketball game. If your in need a game to play don't be afraid to pick this one up because the online community is great, you can always replay the game, and the season mode (whatever you guys wanna call it) can leave you for years. This game should be a Star in your lineup because, hey ''Its Like That''.
