"DW Gundam is a game for the true Gundam Fan"

Dynasty Warriors Gundam is a great game that needs to be better recognized. It is you basic Hack - and - Slash, beat - em - up, game except with a few things that make it better than most of its genre.

First, you have to be a true Gundam fan to really appreciate it. Second, you have to have a favorite Gundam. You cant just say " I like them all " because then what would you do when you beat the game? When I beat the game the first thing I did was turn up the difficulty and try to play through it again as Milliardo piloting Epyon. Third, you cant pick out flaws and use that as an excuse to say this game stinks.

This game has flaws but nothing major. The one thing that made me not give this game a 9/10 or even 10/10 was the fact that, true to its namesake, it was a Dynasty Warriors game and therefore, guns were not that useful at all. It is a sword (or in this case, beam saber) fighting game.

DW gundam has 2 modes. Original and Official. Original is the story mode made by the designers and is not an official gundam story. Official mode is actual Gundam stories from the show. You can play as most major heros and enemies from the show, like Armoro and Char. There are alot of characters and even more Gundams to use in the game but still there could be more. Official mode covers the stories of Mobile Suit Gundam, Z Gundam, and ZZ gundam. I wish there was a Gundam Wing official mode but only Milliardo and Heero show up and that is on Original mode. Domon from G Gundam is on Original mode along with Master Asia. You can also play as any of the characters from Official mode on Original mode. Armouro, Char, Haman, Kamile, Emma, Judau, Jerid, Scirocco, and Roux. If you dont know who these characters are, you will after you play this great game.

All in all this is a game that is deserving of its rating. It has many great stories in it and It may make some people feel nostalgic when they here things like " My hand glows with an awesome power! Its grip tells me to defeat you! BURNING FINGER!!!!!!! " Please, give it a chance. If you dont like it then you dont like Gundam.
