Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2

"Well, Viva Las Vegas....Again!!!"

Well OK, I made a mistake because I thought this was released next week lol, so was a nice surprise to get this today lol(thats what SSBB and NMH does to you lol)

but anyway

Single Player- From what I've played is just as good as the 1st, I play it on realistic(like I did with Vegas 1)this time though you have 3 on your team including you which makes it a lil harder, but it works well,

Pros- Picks up where the last one left us, not a bad thing because the 1st was a classic, traditional R6 gameplay, added bonus of being able to fully customise your character and earn exp through Terrorist Hunt and SP, which is a nice touch.

Cons-Well the game isn't perfect, theres a few glitches and the the graphics aarn't as good as recent games such as CoD4 and Army of Two, but that doesn't make it a bad game (as NMH proved also)

One of the glitches cost me actually, I was doing Act 2 scene 2 and the part in the car garage, I cleared the garage and continued outside, only to find my team missing, I had thought I had told them to hold by accident, but no, I did try t regroup, nothing, so I went back to find them, they were both seemingly afraid to walk over a puddle lol, weird thing was is that they must of walked over it to get in that part of the building anyway lol, I continued on to a checkpoint and died, they returned then, annoying none the less.


Multiplayer/Online-

Now I got this at the same time as my friend who played it before me and I watched as he couldn't play with anyone but french people, who lagged and he was fortunate to be able to join in the 1st place, so my expectations were low to begin with.

Anyway I gave it a chance myself at about 6:30, just got off playing it, now at 11:15pm, not a single problem except the odd 'Unable to join game'

Now I'm not much of an online guy myself, but I had alot of fun with this, I like the whole tactical edge in this so to be able to incorporate it fully online was a dream come true (I know CoD4 can aswell, but you can run and gun in that aswell)I may get a mic for this game alone :)


Overall

Pros- Very good Single Player which tops the last game, great online (when it works lol)and can be difficult, good customisation of characters

Cons-The feeling I've been here done that thing, online seem a lil broken for some people, the friend invite feature is complicated and can be hassle to do, the graphics seem a lil dated compared to more recent games like CoD4, Frontlines and Army of two(not as bad as turning point or Conflict:Denied Ops)

I wouldn't rate games out of ten usually, but I will, this gets a 8.5 for me a definite keeper when online is sorted
