"Great game with small flaws"

Gameplay - 8

You have to admit this game does have solid controls, but there are some faults here and there. Sometimes going to cover in one piece is pretty difficult in a heated battle when your pinned down by tangoes. And the sprint feature helps when needed yet it can ruin the style of tacticalness in the game. Especially during a slow yet fun multiplayer game.

Graphics - 6

I personally really dislike the graphics in this game. They are just a mirror image of the first game. And the jaged edges on the atmosphere and your soldier don't help. Probably one of the biggest let down of the game.

Artificial Intelligence - 8

The A.I. has no doubt improved. Enemies react realisticly to your presence and your teammates follow tactical orders, but do sometimes get a little redicilous. There are also times where the enemy is absolutely clueless, but that is usually rare. A substantial improvement from the last game.

Story - 4

I was really dissapointed by the storyline in this game. The only way I went through the campaign without getting bored was by playing with a friend. I tried going solo and was half awake through the second mission. DO NOT count on this game for a story because it will seriously bore you.

Multiplayer - 9

Truly, truly amazing. One of the deepest and most thrilling multiplayer experience next to CoD4. Ubisoft got the job done perfectly with the PEC and ACES system included in every game mode in the game. The true gem of this game without a doubt. Good job Ubisoft for making such a great online experience.

Distinctiveness - 8

One thing that I think that a game needs to be a winner is distinctiveness. This is a pretty good example of distinctiveness mostly because of the soldier creation and the ACES system. ACES is a really good distinctive feature in this game because it awards you for making smart or even ludicris actions. And the soldier creation is fantastic when it comes to distinctiveness because of the amazing level of customization. NOTE: I didn't include the PEC system because something similar was in CoD4 before R6V2.

Lasting Appeal - 9

Trust me, you'll be popping at this game for a while, or atleast until the release of GTA 4. I mean with co-op, terrorist hunt, and multiplayer to explore, this is one of those games that push it to the limit, but know how to keep it.

Overall - 8/10

This is a great game and I really recommend it if you want a deep online experience.
