Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Review by MindFreak202
"The perfect tactical shooter!"
This game is amazing on so many levels and could be said to have the first person shooter aspects of Call of Duty 4, mixed with the cover aspects of Gears of War and then add the realistic part of dying quickly.
The graphics aren't highly detailed, but are still well done. Some people mention this a lot, but only the first time they see it and get used to it pretty quickly.
The amount of different weapon classes and actual weapons make it so each person in a match has there own unique weapon. The character customization makes it just that much better at making it unique.
Only way you won't like this game is if you like to run and gun because this game makes you need to use cover because of how fast you can die without it. Just one more way of making it more realistic.
Online play is very well done with up to 14 players at once and the lag you sometimes get is rarely enough to mess you up at all. I have only had maybe 4 games that lagged too bad to play. Being able to play with your friends over Xbox Live in Story mode, Versus or even Terrorist hunt is a great thing to have.
Another great thing is that your experience that you make throughout all your play time is used throughout the entire game. Whether you are on Story mode for an hour then switch to team deathmatch, your exp. still comes with you.
You also have the A.C.E.S. which gets you all your locked items by get different types of kills. Like if you kill someone who is across the course, you will get marksman points from it that will add up to get things like Assault rifles and Sniper rifles.
Now to talk a bit about the story mode and the A.I. The computer opponents fight pretty close to realistically. If they get shot while in cover they will move to avoid being shot again. They will use explosive barrels and other objects when they see them. All of this applies to your team also.
9/10 because of the graphics being just a bit on the rough side, but not even close enough to make a difference on how good this is. I always say that the graphics don't matter as much as everyone says they should be.
With all the different modes you can play you are sure to be entertained for hours with this game and again if you don't like games that you can't run and gun, you should just go buy another game.
