"Dynasty warriors in a nut shell"

This is the 6th instalment in the dynasty warriors, what I would call a legendary series. You get to control the warriors of legend from china using their strength of 10,000 men to wipe out entire armies, how cool is that, you can just pick up and play for couple of hours without getting board.

Story.
To get to the point this game is all about 3 forces Shu, Wu and Wei, each vying to rule china. Each force has their own leader Shu: liu bei/ Wu: sun jian /Wei: cao cao. and under them are a series of officers who swear loyalty to them, so this game has a lot of betrayal and switching sides. 8/10 only that because it is baed on history so they can't add any more stories to the series.

Game play.
Dynasty warriors 6 introduces a new fighting style to its series called the 'renbu' system. This is based on how many hits you get on an enemy and how strong those hits are, this all adds up to what they call a 'renbu rank'; this go's up after a certain amount of hits but first time played an only go up to 2 but can be upgraded, but can also go down if you are knocked to the ground. There are few changes that may upset people have played the previous games, they've gone and taken out finding the ultimate weapons and also getting the horse's; this is all based your luck of the weapons and saddles that you do pick up. but the biggest mistake they could of done is reduce the amount of musou's (for newbie's these are the characters campaigns). its been taken down to a tiny amount of 17! even worse this includes diao chans: ( . There are also this thing called challenge mode it is there if you either want to get extra game score on the X-Box 360 or you jus want to prove that you are better than all of your friends. 8/10 this would of been higher but is lower because of all of the faults I just mentioned.

Graphics and sound.
Not much to say here apart from the fact that THE GRAPHICS ARE AWESOME! Better than all the other games obviously because it on the 360 and not on the PS2 but just... just ... blah! the music is cool as it is mixed some old Chinese music with guitar. A massive 10/10 no need to explain.

Play time.
This game would take a good amount of time to complete as you'll have to unlock every character, level the all up, get all the good horses, do every musou, do every challenge so after doing all of that you won't want to do all that again unless you really really want to. 8/10 as this game isn't worth restarting but it is longer than most game that take a hour to complete.

My recommendation.
Overall I would say that if you have played any of the previous dynasty warriors games buy this one, but if you haven't then just rent it or borrow it from a friend.
