"You want a party game? Get the original"

Intro:

Fuzion Frenzy 2 is the second Fuzion Frenzy game to date, and hopefully, the last. Fuzion Frenzy is basically one big game, packed with lousy minigames, and an even worse announcer.

Story: 1/10

There isn't one. Granted, it's a party game, but the developers could've done better. If you do Tournament mode, which is basically story mode, you'll find you're trapped on a spaceship with an... announcer with an annoying voice and a crazy hair-do.

The only reason the story recieves a 1, is because the developers tried to create something.

Gameplay: 6/10

You would think, this being a party-game and all, that the gameplay would be the best part. Well, unfortunately for this game, it's not. You have around 40 mini-games, and they're not even all unlocked at the beginning. So you have to play through Tournament mode a couple of times to unlock them all.

Tournament mode is where you go through different planets, playing their mini-games to see which of you gets the most points. That's it. You go through planets, get points, and move on.

There are these cards that you receive if you start winning a lot of games. These consist of Point Multipliers, Point Stealers, and Point Dividers. The only real game-altering card is the point multipliers.

Basically, this game tried to recreate the fun that people had with the first game, but they overdid it by a lot, and it really shows on the gameplay.

Sound/Music: 6/10

You have a little bit of nice techno-sounding music in the background, but you can only hear that if the announcer is chewing your ear off. The sound effects match what's going on, but the only real problem is the announcer. Every time you get hit, you hear, "That had to hurt". Nothing else. You'll be trapped in some mini-games where that'll be unavoidable.

The music would've been nice, but you can not hear it due to the sounds of the mini-games and the terrible announcer. That's why the sound recieves a 6 out of 10.

Replayability: 2/10

There's not really much to replay. For a full 1000/1000 gamer score, you must beat Tournament mode five times, and that's it. You won't have to touch the game again.

Conclusion:

I only recommend this game to people seeking out an O.K. Party game and they're on a tight budget. If you're seeking out an easy 1000 gamerscore points, then this is also for you. You will not like this game if you're just playing by yourself.
