Mercenaries 2: World in Flames

"The Game That Let's You Blow EVERYTHING Up."

I am a HUGE fan of Mercenaries 1 so when I heard of this I was excited beyond belief and trust me I was not disappointed.

Gameplay: 10/10

This is what makes the game outstanding. What other game let's you blow up the ENTIRE GAME (of course not the terrain). Get back at the Oil Companies for outrageous gas prices by blowing up a virtual Oil Company's HQ (or oil rig)! Got something against trees? Blow them up and start a forest fire. Follow the story and get a helicopter pilot (flies you around and picks up resources), a mechanic (builds cars from hidden parts throughout the game), and a jet pilot (drops bombs...what else would you need?). This will be your PMC with Fiona who will assist you with marking your targets and advice, etc. You can bet with all of them and complete challenges to make money (or unlock oufits). Also, completing contracts let's you hold more oil so you can call in more things. So basically the point of this game is to blow stuff up...and boy does it do it well!

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics in this game are truly amazing. They capture the beauty of Venezuela...and the beauty of explosions. This game will have you staring at everything and thinking WOW. I find myself blowing up things for fun and watching the cool effects instead of the mayhem. In a nutshell...they're great.

Sound: 10/10

The sound is great and they really the KABOOM of explosions as well as the crumbling of collapsing buildings. When you use a boat you hear the waves crashing against the side. The sound is realistic and entertaining. It's hard for me to write about sound so I will close this by saying...the sound is spectacular.

Physics: 10/10

The physics are much better than the first. Pieces of buildings go flying, tanks won't fly around (unless you use a winch ;D). The physics are realistic, but push realism a little out of the way to have fun.

Drawbacks:

As you may have heard the glitches can be overwhelming, I have only experienced one major glitch so you shouldn't be concerned. I'll just say the game is so great it outweighs the drawbacks.


So there you have it. My review for Mercenaries 2: World In Flames. The game is truly awesome and I hope you have a chance to play it. (If not buy it)
