NHL 2K7

"Not to good."

NHL 2k7, this is a much better hockey game then NHL 07 in my opinion, the controls are better, much better but the presentation is a bit weaker, but that isn't a big deal because the main thing about sports games is good game play, that's the most important thing in any game.

Graphics: They are just average, probably a bit worst then NHL 2007's graphics. I think the arena looks ok but the players do not have a lot of life in them. Everything kind of just happens, I mean the game just does not feel alive.

Audio and sound: I found the music in this game to be just a bit below average, and the commentary was annoying, but it was not all that bad. The audio is a bit better then most other hockey games but still, it was not perfect.

Online play: The online play is much better in this game then NHL 07, I mean its mainly because the controls in this game are not as bad as the other game's. I just found that overall the online play was a lot more fun in this game, it is good to play with friends or other people online.

Game play: I found the game play in this game was pretty fun, but overall it still was not all that good, there is room for improvement. The controls are at least useable in this game though, it isn't rocket science to take a slap shot or anything. The game just isn't all that fun even with better controls then NHL 2007, still though this game is better. The multi player plays pretty well but the single player is kind of boring here. It just gets long after a while, you really can not play it for a long time. The rosters are good in this game, up to date. There are a couple modes of play also.

Replay ability: This is an alright game if you just want to sit down and play a hockey game with your friends, or pop online for a quick match every now and then, but this is not a game that I can play for long periods of time, maybe that's just because I am not the biggest fan of sports games, I don't know. Still though I found this game a lot better then the NHL 2007 game, and if you want a hockey game this is your best bet.
