Project Gotham Racing 3

"Good racing game."

Project gotham racing 3. I found that all in all this was one of those average racing games that is a bit fun to play but doesn't really have enough redeeming qualities to warrant a good score or a purchase at full price. It is still a fun game if your looking for a good racing game though, but I would not say its amazing.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are nice in some ways but average in others, the courses look pretty good, but there is room for improvement. The cars have a nice shine to them but the damage modeling is not very good.

Story: Being a racing game there was not much story in this game, you're a racer.

Audio and sound: The audio in this game was ok, the cars sound nice and the music is a bit better then the music from some other racing games out there, the music was better then a game like flat out, that's for sure.

Online play: The multi player mode in this game is really pathetic, it is so bad, it is just so boring, there are no redeeming qualities here. Its just racing on boring tracks over and over, no good stuff. Not many people even play.

Game play: Here is where the game really falls flat on its face. I mean the game itself isn't even racing, its all circuits and trying to beat certain times. I would have to say a good %60 of the games events are doing these boring test circuits, weather it be racing cones, hitting a top speed in a certain amount of time, or practicing not hitting cones, or racing your top speed. Its just so boring. Racing other racers is kind of boring after a while also, though its fun for the first few times. You also get a pretty good sense of speed on the longer distances, which is always nice In my opinion, that added to the experience.

Control's: I must say the cars in the game handle pretty nice, I felt like I was actually a car myself and it was fun. The turning is good, the acceleration is good.

Replay ability: If you manage to beat the game I really can not see anyone going through the game again unless they are on another difficulty or they just really like racing.
