"Time to get Call of Duty 4 back out"

Okay the game is all right in its entirety but there are some few problems people will have with it after playing CoD4.

Campaign-
Okay the campaign in Call of Duty 4 was amazing the very first mission was heart pounding and pretty much exciting. In Call of Duty world at war there is no true story line. Its just like every other Call of Duty Treyarch (spelling) made. You are an american and russian soldier fighting in WWII. You play through key battles of history in WWII and thats about it. During the game you will get tired and bored due to the lack of excitement. I will give the campaign a 5/10 only because it had some good battles in it and I liked some of the new weapons and how limbs are blown off.

Graphics-
Great. I mean they are using the CoD4 engine but unlike CoD4 Call of Duty World at War doesn't have those scenes in the game where you just gasp in amasment like in Call of Duty 4. 8/10

Gameplay-
Just like all the other Call of Duty games fast and pretty exciting
7/10

Unlockables-
Okay there are unlockable gamerpics, perks for multiplayer and a new game Nazi Zombie. The perks are back and are all pretty much the same except they have added some vehicle specific perks that you can unlock. The gamerpics are unlocked through prestiges and are pretty cool and are a pretty good reason for prestiging (spelling), but the most noticable is the new mode Nazi Zombie but I will put a whole section for that one but for unlockables
I give it a 9/10

Zombies!!-
Okay this is the funnest part of the entire game and I'm not kidding about it. This is only unlocked by completing the campaign and its worth it. The whole premis of the game is you and 3 other people are in a building while waves of zombies, but wait not just any zombies NAZI ZOMBIES!!!, are busting down window's trying to get in. So the game goes through waves which increase in difficulty as they get higher, duh. Zombies will start running and be harder to kill and will be able to kill you faster. Now you earn money/points for killing zombies which you can then use to unlock other rooms in the house but by doing so you unlock more spots for zombies to enter. The game is thrilling and calls for alot of team work and I would give it a perfect score but there is only one problem with it. Treyarch only created this mode to compete with Gears of War 2's Horde mode and Left 4 dead. So yeah its fun but I think they've just copied in a since. 9/10

Multiplayer-
Okay CoD4's multiplayer was awesome but this one just feels lack luster. I find my self getting tired of it faster and with the addition of vehicles has made it even worse. The vehicle's were not a smart idea. yes they can be destroyed but it takes 3 rockets or if your good 1 well placed explosive charge through the hole in the top. Now these vehicles are pretty bad but the fact that your completely screwed if the team gets hold of both tanks is extremely frustrating. I mean in multiplayer if your trying to shoot a tank then you become an instant target for all the other players on that team and you will die and you will get mad. Along with vehicles new specials have been added (I'm just calling it a special). Like in Call of Duty 4 if you get 3 kills without dying you get a recon plane which shows the location of all enemies on your radar but now if you get 5 kills with out dying you get and artillary strike which is just like the airstrike but I find it better in this game. The specials where all good until you get to the 7 kill streak special. In CoD4 you would get a chopper that would great and you felt that those 7 kills went to something but in this game you get dogs. Yeah dogs. They come in a pack and attack your enemies but the dogs are to loud and are easily killed so you find yourself barely getting any kills from the damn dogs and are only good for following so you can find an enemy. The game modes are pretty good but they are generally the same. Over all the games multiplayer just feels like another WWII first person shooter. I give it a 6/10

Co-Op
Co-Op pops up in this game and is all right. its just like halo 3 you and 3 friends playing on the campaign and yes you run into some same problems such as lag. 7/10

Over all this game is alright. I mean its not good but not bad. This game is a good rental but I don't think you should buy this game. Its definately a fun game to play for a week but if you want a good multiplayer war game just pop back out CoD4 and you will be happy. Also don't get this game just for the Zombie mode espicialy with Left 4 dead coming out. Well any way my over all rating for this game is a 6/10
