Street Fighter IV

"Thank God they didn't go 3D!!!"

Street Fighter 4 is street fighter perfected. The controls are VERY smooth even without a fightpad or joystick. All of the charachters from Street Fighter II are back and none of the sucky ones from III are included. For some reason Capcom still refuses to make a Street Fighter with EVERY SF characher in it. Gen was a nice inclusion, but if you're going from Street Fighter I why not take the more popular Adon or Gecki?

The Pros: The controls are smooth, the Graphics are nice, and thankfully Capcom kept Street Fighter in 2D. (NOTE to game developers 2D GAMES ARE STILL FUN!!!!!) Online Play gives high replay value. The DVD is a nice addition in the collectors package. The soundtrack thats included would be nice if the game had a decent soundtrack, and the Crimison Viper toy doesn't do much for me. It reminds me of one of those Final Fantasy Charachter keychains only it's less convienent to carry around.

The Cons: The Soundtrack REALLY sucks! The only nice tunes are the remakes of the tunes from part II. I run my own SF soundtrack on the fighting stages. Also it would have been nice if Capcom allowed a deeper roster. What about our favorites from the Alpha series or III? Also (NOTE TO DEVELOPERS) I WANT TO PLAY ONLINE, I don't want to play through pointless modes to unlock people. This game forces you to play through modes you might not want to play through to get charachters. Maybe I don't wanna finish the game with special conditions to play as Akuma....gosh... Also this game would be REALLY boring after three days if you had no intention of playing online. Even on a difficult setting the computers pretty stupid. Speaking of difficulty, Beating Seth on his hardest level takes luck not skill. His specials are worse than Gill's ressurection.

This game is awesome, the best one I've purchased in a while. Old gamers will enjoy it, and younger ones will too once they get the mechanics down.

Grapics: 4.5 (looks wonderful on a Plasma, and games can look nice without 3d) Sad that theres no blood

Sound: 3 Lame tracks and ridiculous voice acting. The game sounds better with Japanese Voices

Replay Value: 5 IF you have Xbox live. This game would be rather boring the cpu is your only opponent

Overall Fun: 5 again if you intend to play online
