UFC 2009 Undisputed

"UFC is awesome, but where is Captain America?"

Presummary

With over 80 playable fighters, even having the late Evan Tanner. The one guy that won't be in Undisputed 2009 is UFC's Captain America, Randy The Natural Couture . Why would he even turn down the offer to be idolized in a video game? Does he believe that he should not be in a video game, and that people should get off their lazy ass and train?! Or, is he just waiting out there for him to be a downloadable character to help make even more big bucks for the company?! If he is a downloadable character I wouldn't care about price, because I would still buy the game add-on because its The Natural. This Game looks very promising, so look out Fight Night, and Virtua Fighter, DOA, and even my all time favorite Tekken. Because there is a new Fighter Game in town. This game ephasizes on 6 styles Muay Thai, Kickboxing,Boxing,Judo,Wreslting,and Jujitsu . Great stand-up and good ground games plus good physical effects that makes blows to the head knock you back. Please get the word out for Randy Couture to be a downloadable character.

Gameplay

Great controller mapping for executing moves like transitions and strikes. The blocking is terrible, and the countering is too easy. They attribute list is equal, everyone has a chance to win. This game leaves openings for advancement in the way we play games. They can definitely bring more styles in the game like Greco-Roman and Karate, and well it would be nice to mix them more, instead of having 2 types to pick from like a standup style and grapple style. It would be nice to have a footwork attribute, and dexterity for the BJ Penn Fans. The graphics are splendid,looks like the real thing, I wish the cuts look better. Training is nice but needs alot of work, nobody trains like that, and it would be nice to play a mini game to advance your character attributes. Camps are awesome but need more variety, because they are all the same. And you retire too quick in career mode, and it would be nice to keep going like in Madden. It was nice to see the Ultimate Fighter guys as a DLC but it would be even better to try and have a simulation on this game being on Ultimate Fighter and going up the ranks. Need a Diet Plan to get more complex , and a training schedule and a selection of coaches would be nice. Injuries can happen, so lets see it.

Overall summary

The game is a hit, everyone who likes fighting will love it, and I can't wait to see next year's game.
Just hope Captain America comes in, and maybe some more varitey be thrown in.
