"Kane Lives!"

Introduction:

Since day one I loved the command and conquer series on the PC and also the ports to playstation. But as time and technology advanced it became harder to play the newest releases for my computer considering the high demand for requirements. That changes now due to consoles!

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics on this game are phenomenal and very detailed with every little aspect you are looking at on your screen. Every unit has there own shine to there armor or weapons and buildings stand tall and proud for your faction clearly. While Nuclear bombs brighten the screen blinding all in sight and causing massive mayhem or Ion cannons doing the same and leaving large craters in your base. Everything is well done.

Controls 8/10

For a console the controls are great really, you have probably seen a bunch of people complaining because they want mouse and keyboards etc.. But honestly, the remote is your mouse and a headset is your keyboard to chat with. Moving on, the controls are pretty simple, analog sticks rotate camera's and pan across the screen while holding one button could easily select multiple units or even select all and if you are a hardcore real time strategy player for computer than you can easily get adapted to these controls.

Sound 8/10

The sound is good. pretty much decent as any other game really. Music matches up with the feel of level your in while doing a campaign mission or while a battle commences between you and your arch enemy.

Game play 9/10

The game play is great and the build style is similar to the original command and conquer games. You obtain credits with tiberium and harvesters while you click and wait for units or building to be ready for your deployment. There are three factions like the classic brotherhood of Nod or the Global defense initiative and the brand new long awaited for Scrin. An aggressive alien force that feeds of Tiberium for nearly anything they make. Moving on there is a unit capacity up to fifty units which is not so bad really and there are tons new and familiar units, buildings and super weapons.

Skirmish mode is capable of four players and has an incredible A.I and is capable of being on certain difficulties and strategy's like easy to brutal mode and things like rusher, turtle, balanced, gorilla, or steam roller. Which are strategy modes like I just mentioned a second ago.

Multiplayer: 9/10

I have decided to include this in my review since I know you are dieing to know some information about online play. Anyways there are up to four players capable for online play and can be easily thrown into free for all or one on one and two on two etc. The matches could take a little bit of a while to set up sometimes but not always and there is a quick match mode for if you become impatient. There are tons of maps to play on and the feel this game has taken for online game play is more of short to medium game play length. Since it gets easy to build quickly up the tech tree.

Story 10/10

I was completely amazed with the storyline and hype of Kane's return and continuation of the classic original command and conquer series. The cut scenes does have its classic real footage scenes like in red alert two and its looking really sharp and high definition like. Also its more serious and dramatic. Going back to the story being like a roller coaster leaving you at the edge of your seat wondering whats going to happen next. There are two views shown threw the cut scenes from GDI and NOD, all with there own commanders and leaders.

As you know this is the mark of the third tiberium war triggered bye Kane, will he finally achieve his goal and also completely destroy the GDI or will the good guys knock him down again? You find out the rest of this story.

Final Score: 9/10

Command and conquer Tiberum Wars is a outstanding console rts and a must have to your command and conquer collection.
