"Not bad for what its worth"

I recently picked this up in a bargain bin in a giant tiger. I payed $6 for it, about a dollar more than what they originally sold it for at Burger King. I played one of the other ones, "sneak king", and hated it. It was unplayable. I heard this one was better so I gave it a shot.

Gameplay: From the game screen you have options. You can change characters, change cars, start a tournament or play a single ride. The rides are basically the minigames. Here are my separate thoughts on the "rides".

Bumper Hockey: Two on two hockey. There are a lot of power ups to pick up during this which usually make the game change erratically. It is hard to score and is not fun with A.I.

Last Man Standing: Trying to destroy the three other players. There are holes that open up in the middle of the stage and plenty of power ups. Usually over pretty fast. Great with friends.

Own the Puck: Once you touch the puck it changes to your color. You have to keep to as your color to gain points. First to 300 wins. This is very hard with A.I. Just everyone racing for the puck

Shockball: Like hot potato. You pass on the "shockball" to other players by bumping them. When the shockball goes off it explodes and does damage. Last man standing wins. Not very fun and awful with two people left.

Power Surge: Dots light up when they have the power surge. One person get it and tries to bring it back to the base to get points. The more health they have the more points they get. The three other people's jobs are to damage the car. Very tedious and too long to play.

There is also a "tournament" mode where you play a set number of minigames for points. There are five in total and can be beaten in under 30 minutes.

There is no best game. They are all meh and just playable.

Controls: There are three controls. "A" is boost, "B" is taunt and you move with the left stick. This feels really awkward. It just doesn't work with the overhead view. You can't really drive backwards which makes some minigames utter trash.

Graphics: This games is compatible with 360 and regular xbox so the graphics have to be xbox quality. The environment and rides look pretty good. But the character models are atrocious. Characters models look better in an Nintendo 64 game.

Multiplayer Offline: This is a great party game to play with friends. You can laugh at it and still have a good competition going. The bad thing is you can't just do a two player match, you have to play with four players, which usually means two, overly aggressive A.I.

Multiplayer Online: Live is a ghost town, you will NOT FIND ANYONE. I managed to arrange a match online to test it out and for achievements. It has a leaderboard, ranked and player matches, all the stuff you would expect in an online game. You still need four players so expect to be playing with A.I.
The gameplay is a bit laggy but otherwise fine.

Final thought: This game defines a bargain big game. Playable but still low quality. If you see it for that much I'd suggest to buy it because in awhile this game could become very rare. It should keep you occupied for about 3 days. Since nobody plays online I can't add that to the playtime. If you see it for over $20 don't even think about buying it.
