"Yaris" is a free Xbox Live game put out by Microsoft, obviously advertising the Toyota Yaris. That's it. You really can't describe how amazingly bad this game is. In fact, this is the first time I've ever....

Wow..... I don't think words are going to work.

It's just that strange, and that bad. There is no other way to put it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!

Anyways, Yaris is a free XBL game, and that's the only good thing going for it. You get three versions of the Yaris to drive, and you get a handful of generic tracks to drive it on. There's also this crazy looking claw thing that sticks out from your hood and shoots a bunch of random crap.

The main goal of the game is to go around these tube-like tracks collecting coins, and scoring points for killing enemies. Picture the game "Galaxian", but now, instead of a spaceship, you're driving a Toyota Yaris. And you're driving from the chase view. And there's a bunch of Sumo Wrestlers riding bikes trying to hunt you down.

So, you drive around a really bland looking track, shooting everything that moves, and collecting a bunch of Toyota-branded coins. You can buy new upgrades for your car, such as better weapons, a new coat of paint, or a new car alltogether, but it's pretty much useless. The upgrades don't do anything, and you can kill most of the enemies in the game with one shot from your default gun.

The game isn't very fun, and it's very hard to drive more than two races without getting bored. There's really no point to Yaris. You drive around, shoot things that move, and try to finish three laps without dying. The tracks sort of resemble some of the Tube tracks from the F-Zero series, but they're really not that fun at all. You don't actually do any racing, either. You just drive around a track three times, and try not to lose all of your health.

There is a cooperative mode over Xbox Live, but I imagine that it would be very hard to find someone else that would play this game with you.

There are better ways to spend eight minutes of your life. Playing Yaris is not one of them. It's way more fun to check your mailbox and brush your teeth than to play this game. Writing this review was a lot more fun than playing Yaris.

Please don't download or play Yaris. There's no point.
