What can i do to take two cubes off each other without touching the cube on top?

Im stuck in the silenced cathedral block puzzle room... two pares of cubes on top of each other... how do i get them off each other without being able to touch the cubes on top, inside of that room?

Your best bet is to push the cube tower up against a wall with the same height as the lower cube. Climb on the wall behind where you pushed the tower of cubes and the push the top cube to the ground. It is as simple as that.

Soul Reaver has some pretty tricky puzzles.
